Dear PCE Families,
What another amazing week at Peach Creek Elementary! It was so much fun seeing our Wildcats wearing their hats on Friday as we celebrated reaching our campus attendance goal! We are incredibly proud of our students and families for making attendance a priority. Every day at school matters, and every day gives our students another opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed!
It is hard to believe, but we have officially reached the last week of the first nine weeks and are quickly approaching Fall Break! We are already a quarter of the way through the 2026–2027 school year, and we are so proud of everything our students have accomplished so far.
Our attendance celebrations will continue throughout October! This month, our Wildcats are competing in a Grade-Level Attendance Challenge. The grade level with the highest attendance will earn an exciting celebration on October 27th—an entire hour with their classmates on a special obstacle course! We cannot wait to see which grade level rises to the challenge. Remember, being on time and staying all day helps our students maximize every minute of learning!
We also have a couple of special events happening this week. Fall Picture Day is Monday, October 5th, so come ready to smile! Then, we will end our week by asking all of our Wildcats and staff to wear PINK for Pink Out as we recognize October and show our support together as a campus.
Thank you, PCE families, for an incredible start to our school year and for continuing to partner with us each and every day. We are excited to finish our first nine weeks strong and celebrate all of the growth our Wildcats have made!
Every Student, Every Day; Mission: Growth Ready!
I can, I will, I did… Hear me ROAR!
With Wildcat Pride,
Peach Creek Elementary

PCE Wildcats, it’s time to PINK OUT! 🩷
This Friday, October 9th, we are asking all of our students and staff to WEAR PINK as we come together to show our support and spread awareness during the month of October!
We can’t wait to see PCE covered in PINK! 🩷🎀
Stronger Together. One PCE Family.

As we welcome our PCE Wildcats each morning, we kindly ask that all families dropping off students use the designated car rider line. When vehicles park and families walk students to the front entrance, it can cause congestion and slow down the car rider line for everyone.
Please know that we have designated staff members ready to greet and help walk our littlest Wildcats safely to their classrooms, so they are in great hands from the moment they arrive! Using the car rider line helps us keep morning arrival safe, smooth, and efficient for all of our Wildcats.
We also understand that some mornings can be a little more difficult, and a student may have trouble saying goodbye to their parent or guardian. If your student is having difficulty transitioning out of the vehicle, we will kindly ask you to park so we can keep the car rider line moving. Our PCE staff will work with your student to help them transition into their school day, and if additional support is needed, we will ask for your assistance to help them feel comfortable and ready to begin their day at PCE.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and partnership as we work together to help every Wildcat start their day safely, smoothly, and successfully!

For the safety of all of our Wildcats, it is extremely important that families who utilize car rider dismissal have their car rider tag displayed each and every day. These tags help our staff quickly identify approved vehicles and ensure that every student is released safely to the correct person.
If you need a car rider tag, please make sure to obtain one prior to dismissal. If you arrive for car rider dismissal without a tag, you will be asked to park and wait until car rider dismissal has concluded before coming inside to receive a tag and pick up your student.
We appreciate your understanding, patience, and partnership as we work together to keep every Wildcat safe during dismissal!

We are excited to kick off our October Attendance Challenge! Every day and every instructional minute at school matters, and throughout the month of October, our grade levels will be competing to see which grade level can earn the highest attendance percentage. The winning grade level will earn an exciting Obstacle Course Celebration on October 27th! We cannot wait to see our Wildcats show up, show out, and work together to help their grade level take the win!
Families, we appreciate your partnership in making attendance a priority. Please help us ensure that students arrive on time and are ready to learn by 8:35 a.m. and remain at school for the full instructional day until dismissal at 4:10 p.m. Being present from bell to bell helps our Wildcats maximize their learning, stay connected to their classroom community, and continue making progress toward their individual goals. Thank you for helping us make every day count as we live out our mission: Every Student, Every Day; Mission: Growth Ready!
Splendora ISD follows Texas Education Code §25.092, which requires students to attend at least 90% of the days a class is offered in order to earn credit or be promoted. This state rule applies to all absences, excused or unexcused. and includes both full and partial days. Being here each day, from start to finish, gives our Wildcats every opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. Together, we can make every day count!

We love welcoming our families to PCE to enjoy lunch with their Wildcats! As a friendly reminder, space in our cafeteria is limited, and all designated visitor seating is located on the stage. If the stage reaches capacity, additional seating will be available in our Community Room near the front office.
To help us maintain a safe, organized, and enjoyable lunch environment, students may eat with their approved visitor(s); however, friends or other students are not permitted to join them at the visitor tables or in the Community Room. This helps ensure we have enough space for all of our visiting families while allowing our cafeteria routines to continue running smoothly.
For the safety and security of all of our Wildcats, we kindly ask that visitors remain only in the designated areas of the building. After checking in through the front office, lunch visitors should travel directly to and from the cafeteria or designated Community Room seating area. We ask that visitors please do not walk through or visit other areas of the building during their visit. If an adult needs to use the restroom while on campus, the designated adult restroom is located in the front office. Our front office team will be happy to assist you.
Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued partnership in helping us keep PCE safe while making lunchtime a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our students and families. We truly appreciate your help in keeping Every Student, Every Day safe and ready to learn!

This past week, our Wildcats celebrated College Week at PCE! Throughout the week, students had opportunities to begin thinking about their futures and exploring the many possibilities available to them after high school.
Students were introduced to a variety of colleges through virtual college tours, conversations, classroom activities, and our daily College Week spotlights, students learned about different programs of study, campus life, and the many careers their interests could one day lead to.
We also reminded students that college is only one of many pathways to a successful future. Students were encouraged to explore career and technical training, certifications, and military service as additional options they may choose to pursue. Most importantly, our message throughout the week was simple: Your Future Starts NOW!
Our students don't have to know exactly what they want to be when they grow up. Elementary school is a time to dream, explore, discover their strengths and interests, and begin developing the skills that will help them succeed wherever their future takes them.
World Mental Health Day — Wear GREEN!
Mental health matters at every age. This is a simple opportunity to promote awareness, encourage kindness, and remind our students and staff that taking care of our mental health is just as important as taking care of our physical health.
Whether it's checking in on someone, offering encouragement, showing kindness, asking for help, or simply taking a moment for yourself, small actions can make a big difference.
Thursday, October 8–Wear GREEN in recognition of World Mental Health Day!
Together, we can continue creating a PCE community where every Wildcat feels seen, supported, connected, and cared for.

Rescheduled Picture Day is almost here, Wildcats! We were able to get with the company and the rescheduled picture day will be October 5th. Get those outfits ready, bring your biggest smiles, and come ready to shine! We can’t wait to see all of our Wildcats smiling bright and showing off their PCE pride. It’s going to be a picture-perfect day at PCE!

We are excited to announce our September House Challenge winners—the YELLOW HOUSE! Throughout the month, our Wildcats worked hard to earn tickets for their Houses, and the Yellow House came out on top, earning an exciting trip to the PCE Arcade! We are so proud of their accomplishment and cannot wait to celebrate them!
Now it is time to kick off our October House Challenge! Our Wildcats will once again be working hard to earn House Tickets by demonstrating our ROAR expectations—Respectful, Optimistic, Adaptable, and Responsible throughout the school day. Whether they are in the classroom, cafeteria, hallways, playground, or anywhere on campus, our students have opportunities each day to show what it means to ROAR at PCE! This month, the House with the most tickets will win a sweet celebration—every student in the winning House will receive a full-size candy bar! Keep showing those ROAR expectations, Wildcats, and let’s see which House will take the win this month!

Help Us Fill the Kitchen for Men (& Women) Who Cook!
Our October 24 fundraiser needs more chef teams, and you don’t have to be a chef—or a Splendora ISD employee—to join the fun. Gather friends, family, or coworkers to prepare a favorite dish and decorate your booth. Teams donate their time, food, and booth décor, helping make the evening a fundraiser for Splendora students and educators. If you know someone who would love to participate, please help us spread the word!  Reach out to Janet Sinclair ( Jsinclair@splendoraisd.org) to sign up or for more info!

Our PCE Fall Fundraiser is happening NOW, and we are so excited to see our Wildcats working toward some amazing rewards while helping support our campus! Students who sell 15 items will earn an exciting ride on a limo bus! What a fun way for our Wildcats to celebrate while also raising money that goes directly back to supporting our students at PCE. Funds raised will help us continue adding new games and activities to our campus arcade, supporting end-of-the-year student celebrations, and providing exciting rewards for our monthly House Challenge winners throughout the year. Every item sold helps us create even more opportunities to recognize, reward, and celebrate our Wildcats for their hard work and accomplishments. Thank you, families, for supporting our fundraiser and helping us continue making PCE an amazing place for Every Student, Every Day!

The Fall Fundraiser fun is happening every day at PCE! Students who turn in their fundraiser coupons are earning fun collectibles to add to their backpacks, so be sure to keep those coupons coming! Each morning during announcements, we will share fundraiser updates and let students know when it is time to turn in their coupons—so don’t wait to get those coupons turned in! The excitement doesn’t stop there! The top-selling classes are also earning special prizes each day as they compete to take the lead. Right now, our Kindergarten classes are leading the way, but there is still plenty of time for another grade level to catch up and take the top spot! Keep selling, keep turning in those coupons, and let’s see which Wildcats can rise to the top while helping us raise money to support our students at PCE!

At Peach Creek Elementary, our parents’ voices matter! We value our families and believe your ideas, perspectives, and feedback are an important part of helping PCE continue to grow and make the best decisions for our students. During our Campus Needs Team meetings, we will discuss our campus goals, next steps, family input, and ways we can continue supporting the success of every PCE Wildcat. Our first Campus Needs Team meeting will be held on Thursday, October 8th, from 4:45–5:30 PM in the PCE Community Room.  If you are interested in being  a part of our campus needs team- please email Mrs. Sowell at jessica.sowell@splendoraisd.org.  We look forward to partnering with our families as we work together to make PCE the very best it can be for our students.  Stronger together for our Wildcats! Â
